I hope all of you had a great Christmas.  Well, or are having a great Christmas, since really, there are 12 days of Christmas ending at Epiphany though some cultures keep up the celebrating until Candlemas (Feb 2).  Anyhow, our holidays have been wonderful.

I had a great visit with Mom this past Saturday.  She showed me all the cards she had received.  She was so touched that many of my friends sent cards to her.  It really means a lot.

Sunday, we went to Todd's house.  Denny (Rick's brother) was not able to get down this year, but everyone else on that side of the family was there.  I wish Ric had brought his camera because Hannah (our great niece) and Addy (another great niece) were particularly adorable.

Well, we had a pretty good visit and ate too much.

Monday, we did some running around, took a long nap and that night went to Candlelight services.  I took a Claritin before going so the incense and candles wouldn't bother me so much.  It worked pretty well, though normally Benadryl works better, but makes me SO sleepy!  LOL!  The service was beautiful.  Singing "Silent Night" by candlelight just put goosebumps all over me.

We came back and watched the Pope on TV.  It's something we do for some reason. No, we are not Roman Catholic, but attend an Episcopal church. ; )

I just find the whole thing interesting, I guess.  Good thing there is a guy there to translate what is being said!

Christmas day found us lazy.  Our kitties had Fancy Feast dinners.  Tosh had a new bed to sleep on and make had some jingle ball toys.  He loves those but manages to lose or destroy them at a very fast rate.

I had told Ric I didn't need anything.  He had  paid for maintenance on my car to the tune of several hundred dollars this year and I felt that was enough.  Having a car able to take to me to my Mom...what better?  Of course, he felt like I needed a couple of things to open, so I found these under the tree.  These are stock photos, we'll take our own later...

Yes, he got me a Disney Fairy Beck mini doll.  I had been looking for both the mini and full size Beck and she has been hard to find, but he stumbled across this one.

Beck and the others are hard to find at our local stores.  There are plenty of Tinks though.  I want the new 12 inch Fawn doll.  I will most likely have to get her off the net unless Toys R Us gets her soon.

Today, Rick had to go back to work.  I did a little straightening up and took a nap.  We are having beef stew and slaw tonight with biscuits.  Mac is meowing for his supper now, so I'll sign off!

We had a great time at Todd's yesterday, but Ric forgot his camera!  Boohoo!  Anyway, we are going to candlelight services tonight, so I better take a nap some time today!

I bought my Lime_Sherbert_Kitty some holiday lights.  I will probably sell the ice garland she was using previously.

Picasa Slideshow has all 75.  Richard actually took many more but he realized he had filled up his camera and the Holy Cross float hadn't came by yet so he deleted some.  Both Picasa and Vox slide shows end with the lighting of the clock tower which they did about 5:30 that evening.
