Richard turns 50 today. He can finally sign up with AARP. He has been getting adverts from them for the past few years. He can join the Primetimers at church and I can tag along as well as go to activities at the Senior Center here in town.

I wanted to do something special for him, but of course, Mom's passing had us all distracted. We'll probably just go out to dinner and then go see his parents. I want to know how Tom's dr. visit went.

I never had a chance to do any real shopping but I picked him up a pack of Guinness beer. He really loves dark beer. Maybe he can drink a toast in memory of Mom.
